Mill is a hall stand that fits into any modern home. Sculptural by design, it is as beautiful draped with clothes as it is on its own. Its minimal structure mimics the wings of a traditional windmill. Static, yet invoking movement, Mill references circularity, as if the wings of the mill were revolving. Here, coats and hats come on and off as the day passes and begins again. The circle of time made visible.

The design is conceived so the properties of each material are used to the fullest and the tension between functionality and expression is well-balanced. The natural flexibility of the wood is utilised in the supporting part, which means that the product can be easily folded together so it takes up minimal space in storage and shipping.

Mill is made from two materials: The parts that are to do with expression and form are made of oak wood, while the assembly and functional parts are in copper. This ties the overall look together in a way that makes Mill unique, yet suitable for any environment.
